Jesse C. Trammell, 73, passed away, Saturday, Sept. 25, at Goshen Hospital.

He was born Nov. 26, 1947 in Jellico, Tennessee.

On April 22, 1967, he married Betty J. Lowe in Goshen.

She survives along with his mother, Sarah Ruth (Davis) Trammell Davenport, Keavy, Kentucky; two children, Lee H. (Marla) Trammell and Angie (Jeff) Showalter, both of Goshen; three grandchildren, Payton Trammell and Zachary and Jacob Showalter; six siblings, Helen Osborne and Peggy (Bob) Jones, both of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Mary Marlow and Ronnie (Rhonda) Trammell, both of Goshen, Patricia (George) Ward, Keavy, Kentucky and Billy Davenport, Elkhart; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis E. Trammell.

A Shriner, Jesse loved fishing and Bluegrass music.  He retired from Forest River as a receiving group leader.

Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 1, from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. memorial service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Pastor Robert Lambert will officiate.

Burial will follow at West Goshen Cemetery.
