Jesse Taylor

Jesse Taylor, 61, of Elkhart died Friday afternoon, March 18, 2011, at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born August 7, 1949, in Goshen to the late Jerry J. and Mary Jane (Smith) Taylor.  He married Sheila Mock on December 24, 1994.  She survives. Also surviving are a son, Jesse Alan Taylor of Elkhart; two brothers, Danny (Melody) Taylor of Goshen, and Rocky (Amy) Taylor of Wawaka; and an aunt, Irene Cripe of Plymouth. A lifelong resident of Elkhart County, Mr. Taylor worked as a truck driver.  He enjoyed talking on CB radio and had many “CB friends”.  He also enjoyed gardening. Friends may call 5-7 p.m., Monday, March 21, 2011, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 7:00 p.m. funeral service will be conducted.  Pastor Lenny Krebs, Benton Free Baptist Church, will officiate. Yoder-Culp Crematory will assist with cremation and burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
