Jerry Michael Yoder

Jerry Michael Yoder, 59, of Goshen, passed away Wednesday, May 15, at Goshen Hospital.

Jerry was born in Goshen on April 18, 1965 to Betty J. (Rink) Barber, and Glenn R. Yoder.

Jerry was a long time OTR truck driver, most recently working at T.A.G. (Truck Accessory Group) Elkhart, where he hauled truck caps across the country.

A Scout leader for Troop 117 in Elkhart, Jerry enjoyed helping Boy Scouts climb to the highest rank of Eagle Scout, and was especially proud of helping his son, Colten, reach that achievement.

He will be remembered as a loving father, son, and brother.

Jerry is survived by his parents; a son, Colten (Melissa) Yoder, Cincinnati; his faithful partner, Ms. Amber Miller, Goshen; a brother Mark (Laura) Yoder, Goshen; and a niece Hayley Takach, Niles, Mich.

He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Justin Yoder; his grandparents, Nelson and Evelyn Rink and Jerry and Anna Yoder.

Visitation will be 2 hours prior to a 6 p.m. funeral service on Monday, May 20, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

In keeping with Jerry’s wishes, cremation will follow the service.
