Jerry Richard Miller

Jerry Richard Miller, 66, of Goshen, died unexpectedly at home on Friday, March 21, 2025.

He was born July 12, 1958 in Goshen to William I. and Lois J. (Cripe) Miller.

On April 16, 1982 he married Theresa Sweetser.

She survives along with two children, Adrienne (Garrett) Mustafa and Joshua (Allison) Miller; seven grandchildren, Ella, Collin, Laela, Molly, Landyn, Callee and Lucas; and three brothers, Douglas L. (Peggy) Miller of Goshen, Gregg A. (Vicki) Miller of Goshen, and Terry (Charlotte) Miller of Columbus.

A proud graduate of Goshen High School, class of 1978. He dedicated 44 years of service at Kroger, retiring in 2024, where he formed lasting friendships.

Beyond his professional life, Jerry’s greatest joy was his family. He especially cherished his role as “PAPA” to his beloved grandchildren. He embraced this title with immense pride and showered them with love, laughter and countless unforgettable moments.

A celebration of life will take place Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 1 to 4 p.m. at First Brethren Church of New Paris.

In lieu of flowers donations may be directed to Yoder-Culp Funeral Home to offset the cost of the funeral services.
