Jerry Daniel Rhodes

Jerry Daniel Rhodes, 70, of Goshen, died at his home Sunday morning, September 22, 2013. He was born February. 27, 1943 in Harmony, West Virginia, to James O. and Hazel N. (Raines) Rhodes. He married Karen Gayheart February 18, 1995 in Stroh. She survives along with six daughters, Cindy (Ralph) Casto, Connie Rhodes and Janice Rhodes, all of Ravenswood, West Virginia; Cassie (Terry) Ellsworth of Elkhart and Wendy (Vernell) Lark and Jessica Rhodes, both of Goshen; four sons, James of Ripley, West Virginia, Jerry (Angie) Rhodes of Goshen, Donnie Grise of Texas and Jamie (Peggy) Payne of Bradenton, Florida; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Annie (Greg) Johns of Kentuck, West Virginia; and ten brothers, Jimmy, Joe (Diane), Jake (Rosetta), Johnny (Janet), Bill (Bugsie) and Oakey Daniel (Lisa) Rhodes, all of West Virginia, and Charles, William (Miranda), Jack (Linda) and Jessie (Donna) Rhodes, all of Goshen. He was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Bowles. A Goshen resident since 1965, Jerry retired from Forest River in 2005. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 10 a.m., Thursday, September 26, 2013, funeral service will be conducted. Pastor Linford Martin will officiate. Burial will be in the Rhodes Family Cemetery, West Virginia.
