Jerry T. Perdue

Jerry T. Perdue, 71, of Goshen, passed away at his home Friday evening, July 3, 2015, surrounded by family. He was born Nov. 6, 1943 in Duval, Kentucky to Tom and Mabel (Guffy) Perdue. On January 20, 1974 he married Georgie Carroll in Columbus. She survives along with nine children, Teresa Gates, Tammy and Susan Perdue, Dona Dennis, Melissa Meadows, and Casey, Edward, Herbert and Timothy Hammond; 42 grandchildren; and five siblings, Vincent, Tommy and Michael Perdue, Timmy Jones and Jennine Johns. He was preceded in death by his parents; two grandchildren, Jay Gates and Misty Hammond and two siblings, Carol Roberts and Danny Perdue. He worked as an escort for oversize loads for Com-Data for 25 years. He enjoyed working on cars. Friends may call Wednesday, July 8, 2015 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Robert Clements, Sr., a family friend, will say a few words during the visitation time. Cremation will follow at Yoder-Culp Crematory.
