Jerry R. Hobson

Jerry R. Hobson, 62, of Goshen, died Sunday night, April 10, 2016, at his home following an extended illness.

He was born June 10, 1953 in Evansville to William R. and Mabeline (Bishop) Hobson.

He married Gwendolyn Lace in October of 2002 in Goshen.

She survives along with his sons, Jeffrey Michael Hobson of Elkhart, Brian Robert (Cindy) Hobson of Bristol and Jeromy Richard (Kelly) Hobson of Elkhart; 24 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and five step children, Noel (Jessica) Lace of White Pigeon, Michigan, Lance Lace of Goshen, Tamara (Vince) Hoffman of White Pigeon, Michigan and Angela Lace of Syracuse and Melissa Scott-Lello of Osceola.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.

Mr. Hobson was the owner and operator of Hobson R.V. for 22 years.  Prior to owning his own business, he worked at Lasalle Deitch for 26 years.

A graveside service will be held Friday, April 22, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Violett Cemetery.
