Jerry L. Cripe

Jerry L. Cripe, 77, of Hood River, Oregon, died Wednesday afternoon, February 13, 2008. He was born in Goshen on September 9, 1930, to the late Henry F. and Bertha Cripe.  He married Roberta sink in Scott, Indiana in 1950.  She survives. A professor, Mr. Cripe is survived by his wife; two daughters, Virginia (Brian) Hallett and Lucinda (Greg) Littin; two sons, Stephen Cripe and C. Russell “Rusty” Cripe;  seven grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; two sister, Judy (Charles) Reed and Janet (Phillip) Miller; and a brother, Henry “Hank” Cripe. Friends will be received 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday, March 1, at the funeral home. A 4:00 p.m. memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, March 1, 2008, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Tim Yoder, licensed minister at Goshen City Church of the Brethren will officiate. A private family burial of cremains will be held at a later date in West Goshen Cemetery, Goshen.
