Jerrie W. Hostetler, 89, formerly of Goshen, died Monday evening, September 24, 2012, at LuAnn Nursing Home, Nappanee. She was born March 23, 1923, in Milford to Harvey and Gertie Ann (Orn) Fisher. She married Larry R. Hostetler, October 20, 1998, in Goshen. He survives. Also surviving are three daughters; Mary Ann Snyder of Fishers, Rita Phillips and Debra (David) Ott, both of Goshen; a son, Jeffrey L. Cripe of Goshen; three step-children, Jerry Lee (Jewelee) Cripe of Texas, Annette (Allen) Jones of Elkhart, and Daniel Hostetler of Lafayette; 24 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Wanda M. (Harold) Wyland of Jimtown. She was preceded in death by a sister, Naomi Ringler, and a brother, Dale Fisher. A lifetime area resident and longtime member of First United Church of Christ, Goshen, she was active in the church's Ladies Guild. She enjoyed crocheting, flower gardening, and playing the organ. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 6, 2012 for a graveside service at Milford Cemetery.
