Jeremy W. Helton

Jeremy W. Helton, 37, of Goshen, died unexpectedly early Tuesday afternoon, August 21, 2012, at his home of natural causes. He was born October 31, 1974 in Elkhart. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Patty and Billy DeWalt of Goshen; grandparents, Joseph and Patty Campbell of Goshen and a step-great-grandfather, Vick Pilch of Battle Creek, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Helton. An active member of Faith Mennonite Church he worked at Goodwill Industries. He enjoyed building model cars and was a Dukes of Hazard fan. There will be a private visitation and burial. A 2 p.m., Saturday, August 25, 2012, memorial service will be conducted at Faith Mennonite Church, 1201 S. 11th Street, Goshen, with Pastors Kay Bontrager-Singer and Deron B. Bergstresser officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
