Jeralyn R. Edwards

Jeralyn "Jeri" R. Edwards, 73, of Goshen, died early Sunday morning, May 29, 2011, at Greencroft Healthcare after battling a long term illness. She was born in New Paris on May 17, 1938, to the late Willard and Charlotte (Brumbaugh) Stahly. She married Raymond "Pete" E. Edwards in Goshen on October 11, 1958. He preceded her in death on December 12, 2002. A lifetime Goshen resident, Mrs. Edwards graduated from Goshen High School. She worked in Accounts Payable for Goshen Community Schools. She was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church and Maplecrest Country Club and enjoyed counted cross stitch. She is survived by two sons, Michael C. (Ann) Edwards of Louisville, Kentucky and Stephen R. (Theresa) Edwards of Riverview, Florida; two grandsons, Stephen R. Edwards, Jr. and Joshua W. Edwards; and a sister, Norma J. Rogers of Goshen. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, May 31, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 1, 2011, funeral service will be conducted. Pastor Richard Rinearson, St. Mark's United Methodist Church, Goshen, will officiate. Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
