Jennifer Kay Vanest

Jennifer Kay Vanest, 59, of Goshen, died Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Goshen Hospital.

She was born January 5, 1961 in Marion, Ohio.

On May 2, 1981 she married Ray Michael “Mike” Vanest in Prospect, Ohio. He died July 19, 2018.

Survivors include five children, Consuela (Robert) Geller of Cromwell, Jennifer (Aaron) (Cunningham) Payne, Anthony Vanest, Amber Amanda (Brandon) Smith and Brandy (Chris) Smith, all of Goshen; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; father, Russell Weeks of Portsmouth, Ohio; mother, Linda (Meade) Mitchell of La Rue, Ohio; and four siblings, Jackie (Rick) Hoover, Kenny (Cheryl) Weeks, Sandy (Eugene) Justice and Rusty Weeks.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Weeks.

Jennifer had previously worked at Cutter’s Foam Fabricating Inc., Elkhart.  She enjoyed watching cooking networks, reading, dancing and spending time with family.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 21, 2020 from 1 to 5 p.m., prior to the 5 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen.

Burial will be in Little Pine Cemetery on C.R. 19, Goshen, at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family, c/o Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.
