Jennie Bess Burden                                                                                        Jennie Bess Burden, 73, of Goshen, died early Monday morning, June 19, 2006, at her home following a brief illness.  She was born September 1, 1932, in Muncie, Indiana, to Virginia Henry Bicknell.  On April 23, 1949, in Muncie, she married Delbert Ray Burden.  He died September 26, 2002.   Mrs. Burden moved to Goshen in 1956, coming from Muncie.  She worked as a sales clerk for Dutch Maid Bakery until 2000.  She also helped her daughter at Jimbo’s restaurant.  She collected cows and loved country music.   She is survived by a daughter, Jerri Stutzman, a son, Robert (Stacy) Burden, both of Goshen; five grandchildren and two great-grandsons.  Also surviving are two sisters, Carolyn (Norm) Blyly of Bristol, Indiana and Paulette (Lamorn) Quesenberry of New London, North Carolina.   She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Larry; a grandson, Anthony James Burden; a brother, Robert Bicknell and three sisters, Betty Reese, Vivian Lung and Florence Lewis.   Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 20, at the funeral home.   A 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 21, 2006, service will be held at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Rev. Myron Bontrager of Downtown @ 808 will officiate.   Burial will be in Grace Lawn Cemetery, Middlebury.   Memorial contributions, In lieu of flowers, may be made to Goshen Care at Home Hospice.
