Jeffrey B. Rodgers

Jeffrey B. Rodgers, 36, of Goshen, died early Saturday morning, December 31, 2005 at Goshen General Hospital. He was born March 4, 1969, in Kalamazoo.  He has lived in Elkhart County since 1979.  He graduated from Elkhart Central High School in 1987.  He worked as a Quality Control Manager at Lippert Components in Elkhart.   He helped coach his daughter’s soccer and Little League teams.   He is survived by his mother Fay Rodgers and stepfather Mike Mero of Maysville, North Carolina; a daughter, Sara Rodgers and her mother, Leslie Rodgers of Goshen; his companion, Sheila Smallwood and her children, Britany, Wade and Zac of Goshen; maternal grandparents, Pat and Stella Patterson of Portage, Michigan; and a brother, Wesley Rodgers of Goshen.   Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, January 3, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.   A 10:00 a.m., service will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2005 at the funeral home.  Rev. Ron Spyker of Jefferson Brethren Church will officiate.   Burial will be in West Goshen Cemetery.   Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
