Jeannie K. Miller, 72, of Goshen, passed away Monday, August 22, 2016, at her home after battling cancer the past year.

She was born May 8, 1944 in Goshen to F. Carlton and Pauline (Miller) Yoder.

On December 28, 1962 she married Walter Lee Miller in Goshen.

He survives along with two children, Scott J. (Tina) Miller and Kari (Don) Lewallen, both of Goshen; five grandchildren, Heather (John) Baker, Jared (Anna) Miller, Krista (Brett) Hunter, Kaylie Lewallen and Kaytie (Jon) Swihart; four great-grandchildren, Lukas and Hadley Baker, Olivia Hunter and Collin Miller; two sisters, Joan (Larry Overholser) Eshelman of Goshen and Jeri Lynn (Bobby) Gluck of Milford and a brother, Fred C. (Marie) Yoder of Goshen.

A longtime member of West Goshen Church of the Brethren, Jeannie worked as a secretary for the Goshen Community Schools.

Friends may call Thursday, August 25, 2016, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

A 10 a.m., Friday, August 26, 2016, memorial service will be held at West Goshen Church of the Brethren. Pastor Norm Replogle will officiate.

Burial will follow in West Goshen Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to United Cancer Services of Elkhart County.
