Jean Ann Thompson

Jean Ann Thompson, 65, of Goshen, died early Saturday morning, November 1, 2008, at Goshen General Hospital.  She had been seriously ill since the middle of October. She was born in Hasting, Michigan, on May 8, 1943 to the late Howard Hubbard and Doris (Nye) Hubbard of Goshen.  She married Dennis Thompson on June 4, 1961 in Hastings, Michigan.  He survives. A homemaker, Mrs. Thompson had worked at Greencroft for 12 ½ years in the early 1980’s. She is survived by her husband, Dennis; two daughters, Lori (Larry) Teeple of Bourbon, and Lisa (Charles) Drake of Goshen; a son, Dennis (Dawn) Thompson, Jr. of Elkhart; seven grandchildren; her mother, Doris Hubbard; and a sister, Darlene (Richard) Nix of Paw Paw, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Hubbard; and a brother, Howard Hubbard, II. A private family graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 3, 2008, at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.  Pastor Jim Schrock of First Baptist Church, Goshen, will officiate.
