Jean A. Scott

Jean A. Scott, 59, of Goshen, died Friday, August 1, 2014, at her home. She had been in failing health the past seven years. She was born in Goshen on February 14, 1955, to Marion and Sarah (Mullet) Harshberger. She is survived by a daughter, Tara Scott; two granddaughters, MacKenzie Scott and Alissa Smith; two brothers, Wayne (Jan) Harshberger, Goshen and Joe (Bobbi) Harshberger, Dunlap; and two sisters, Carol (Carl) Reed, Grand Blanc, Mich. and Phyllis (Paul) Vanheldorf, Humble, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Loretta McCreary. Jean worked at Homecrest, now Mastercraft, for 35 years. She enjoyed doing puzzles, gardening and watching westerns. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m., funeral service on Monday, August 4, 2014, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Major Carl Reed of the Grand Blanc Salvation Army will officiate. Burial will follow in Miller 8 Square Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be given to the Sunbeam Troop of the Goshen Salvation Army or to the family to help with funeral expenses.
