Janie J. Freese, 60, of Nappanee, died Sunday evening, July 30, 2006, at her home after a brief illness.   She was born February 11, 1946, in Wynne, Arkansas, to Junior and Q.T. (Edwards) Elliott.  She married Robert L. Freese on November 17, 1963, in Nappanee.  He survives.   Mrs. Freese, a 15 year Avon representative, moved to Nappanee in 1954 from Arkansas.  Her life revolved around her grandchildren.   She is survived by her husband, Robert; her parents, Junior and Q.T. Elliott of Gilmer, Texas; two daughters, Dwana (Brian) Hershberger of Syracuse and Marci (Jason) Barnes of Nappanee; four sons, Robert K. Freese of Oswego, Indiana, Donald (Andrea) Elliott of Gary , Indiana, and Jason (Shannon) Elliott and Brandon L. Freese, both of Nappanee.  Also surviving are 16 grandchildren; a great-grandson; a sister, Teresa Faye Rough of Bremen, Indiana; and three brothers, Donald Elliott and Ronald Elliott, both of Gilmer, Texas, and John (Teresa) Elliott of Nappanee.   She was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Elliott in 2004.   Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, August 1, at the funeral home.   An 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 2, 2006, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Pastor Michael Sommer of the New Paris Church of the Nazarene will officiate.   Memorial contributions may be designated to the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care of Elkhart County.
