Janice R. Wortinger

Janice R. Wortinger, 94, of Charlotte, Michigan, formerly of Goshen, died Sunday, March 24, 2024 at her daughter’s home.

She was born May 12, 1929 in Sturgis, Michigan to Walter E. and Louisabelle (Brakefield) Crapo.

On November 1, 1947 she married Dallas E. Wortinger in Goshen.  He died October 24, 1983.

She is survived by a daughter, Cathy (Roger Franks) Miller, Charlotte, Michigan; 17 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sons, David and Lyle Wortinger, brother, Burton E. Crapo, a great-grandson, James Dale Geyer III, and two great-great grandsons, Damien and Isaac Shuman.

Janice loved her many grandchildren and playing games.

Visitation will be Monday, April 1, from10 a.m. until the 12 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at West Goshen Cemetery.

Memorial gifts may be designated to Yoder-Culp Funeral Home to assist with expenses.
