Janice F. Schrock, 86, of Goshen, died Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at Goshen Hospital.

She was born September 8, 1932 in Carter County, Montana to Alfred Francis and Thelma Izora (Durm) Whorton.

Survivors include seven children, Carol (Terry) Newhard of Fort Wayne, Marilyn (Steven) Mathews of New Paris, Betty Snyder and Ruby Elliott, both of Goshen, Donald Ray (Gwen) Schrock of Lyndon, Washington, Steven Lynn (Denise) Schrock of Middlebury and Jon Alan Schrock of New Paris; 19 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Virginia Hochstetler and Eleanor Fee and a brother, Arthur Whorton.

A longtime area resident, Mrs. Schrock worked at Judd Drug Store, Goshen Rubber and New Paris Elementary.

The family will receive friends, Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. memorial service at Creekside Church of the Brethren, 60455 C.R. 113, Elkhart. Pastor Rosanna McFadden will officiate.

Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory.
