Janet W. Harshberger, 81, of Goshen, died Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Wakarusa.
She was born July 20, 1940 in Huntington to John and Eula (Stringer) Whitelock. They preceded her in death.
On December 21, 1966 she married Wayne Harshberger in New Haven.
He survives along with a son, Wayne (Polly) Harshberger II, Oswego, Illinois; three grandchildren, Beth, John, and Katie; and two sisters, Judith Whitelock of Deland, Florida and Jeanne Beachof Bremen, Ohio.
Mrs. Harshberger was a long-time English teacher and also owned Needle Nest, a needlework shop in Mishawaka.
According to her wishes, cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory, Goshen. Private services will be planned.
