Jane Elizabeth Wolfe

March 24, 1919 — May 6, 2008

Jane Elizabeth Wolfe, 89, of Goshen, died Tuesday afternoon, May 6, 2008, at Courtyard Nursing Center where she had been a resident since June 30, 2000 following a car accident. She was born in Avon, Pennsylvania on March 24, 1919, to Titus Raymond and Sara (Light) Wolfe. A Goshen resident since 1980, Miss Wolfe was a member of the New Paris Missionary Church.  A high school teacher, she taught in four Christian academies.  From 1980 to 2000 she worked as a records secretary and translator at World Missionary Press in New Paris.  Miss Wolfe was an avid student of the Bible and a prayer warrior. She is survived by two nephews, Brent Hollinger of Warsaw and Greg Hollinger; and a sister, Darlene Grindle of Columbia, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruth Hollinger, Kathryn Frey and June Risser. There will be no visitation.  Miss Wolfe donated her body to the I.U. Anatomical Education Program. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at the New Paris Missionary Church.  Rev. George Swank, former pastor, and Rev. Dave Hackney, pastor of the New Paris Missionary Church will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to World Missionary Press.
