Jane Burkholder Stine

Jane Burkholder Stine, 80, of Marietta, Georgia, died February 12, 2011. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on October 19, 1930, to Alden H. and Mark. Burkholder. She married Claire L. Stine in 1952. He survives. Also surviving are four sons, Mark K. (Debbie) Stine of Indianapolis, Jon C. (Lisa) Stine of Portland, Oregon, Craig O. (Jeanette Wilcox) Stine of Greenville, South Carolina and Todd A. (Sarah) Stine of Seattle, Washington; six grandchildren; and two brothers, Paul (Carol) Burkholder of Rockford, Illinois and John (Martha) Burkholder of Monroeville, Pennsylvania. A graduate of Manchester College, Mrs. Stine was an avid reader and talented pianist. She worked for the Fort Wayne Community Schools and was an active member of Beacon Heights Church of the Brethren. An 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 17, 2011, memorial service will be held at the Rock Run Church of the Brethren with Pastor Tim Waite officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Rock Run Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Heifer International or to the Chestnut Ridge Christian Church, Marietta, Georgia.
