James E. Wakeland

James “Jimmy” “Bo” E. Wakeland, 70, died Tuesday, July 12, 2022, as a result of a car accident.

He was born December 15, 1951, in Pikeville, Kentucky.

Jimmy is survived by five siblings, Jerry K. Roth, Winston Eddie (Deloris) Wakeland and Judy Wakeland, all of Goshen and Mary Rose Thacker and Loretta Williamson, both of Pikeville, Kentucky; a step-grandson, Tommy Stalker of Goshen and his best friends, Floyd and Dennis as well as his Salvation Army family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles E. Wakeland and Maggie Mae (Mounts) Bartley.

Jimmy volunteered with the Goshen Salvation Army.

Private services will be held at the Salvation Army and burial will be in Violett Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be given to Yoder-Culp Funeral Home to help with expenses.
