James Douglas Stults

James Douglas Stults, 67, of Elkhart, died of natural causes at his home Thursday evening, March 21, 2013. He was born October 8, 1945 in South Bend to Hubert and Betty (Shaffer) Stults. He is survived by three daughters, Lisa Marie Buenaflor of Richmond, Missosuri, Heather Stults of Lansing, Michigan, and Tiffany ((Jerry) Johnson-Bussberg of Goshen; four grandchildren; a sister, Sherry (Jack) Stewart, of Marion, Illinois; and two brothers, Jerry (Nancy) Stults of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, and Rick (Teri) Stults of Cape Coral, Florida. A lifetime area resident, Jim graduated from South Bend Central High School in 1964. He served for a short time in the U.S. Navy. He retired in 1998. Mr. Stults enjoyed baking and visiting with people. Cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
