James L. Schultz

James L. Schultz 62, of Goshen, died Friday evening, December 13, 2013, at Courtyard Healthcare. He had been in declining health the past year. He was born June 26, 1951 in Metropolis, Illinois, to Sim Valentine and Ruth Hamm Valentine, and adopted by Lowell and Blanche (Halle) Schultz. On September 15, 1979 he married Cynthia Colby in Woodstock, Illinois. She died September 29, 2011. He is survived by two daughters, Susan (Chase) Roberts, of Elkhart, and Samantha (Charles) Turley, of Mishawaka; two sons, Timothy, of St. Cloud, Minnesota, and Thomas, of Atwater, Minnesota; 12 grandchildren; three sisters, Janie Hamm, Patty Stigall, and Dollie Osmand; and two brothers, Virgil and Austin Valentine. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; three brothers; and a sister. Visitation will be one hour prior to the 2 p.m. funeral service Friday, December 20, 2013 at Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg, Wisconsin. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Reedsburg, Wisconsin. Yoder-Culp Funeral Home is assisting the family with local arrangements.
