James C. Mclaughlin

James C. McLaughlin, 67, of Goshen, died Friday, June 29, 2018, at home.

He was born May 9, 1951 in Flint, Michigan to Duane McLaughlin and Patricia (Schnault) Overman.

In October 1971 he married Josephine Zarkowski.  She died December 28, 2017.

Survivors include three children, Jeremy (Megan) McLaughlin of Goshen, Anjanette (Jeremy) Blom of Byron, Michigan and James C. McLaughlin of St. Petersburg, Florida; five grandchildren and two brothers, Rick McLaughlin of Mio, Michigan and Michael Overman of Texas.

Along with his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jonathan Overman.

An ironworker, Mr. McLaughlin served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam.

Burial will take place in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan.

Memorials may be given to Elkhart County Humane Society.
