James Dewey Laws

James D. Laws, 67, of Goshen, died Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at Goshen Hospital.

He was born February 12, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan to James and Bertha (Cable) Laws.

Survivors include three children, Dilean Guffey of Georgia, and Jason Laws and Justin Hull, both of Goshen; eight grandchildren and siblings, Michael (Vicky) Laws and Dallas (Marie) Laws, both of Goshen, Christine Howell, Dale (Alberta) Laws and Louise Leedy, all of Elkhart and Danny R. Laws of Tennessee.

Mr. Laws retired as a medic from the US Army and then worked for CrisCraft Boats.  He was a member of Eagles 1526, VFW 985 and Goshen DAV.

No services are planned at this time.  Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory.
