James A. Heminger

December 22, 1940 — January 6, 2007

James A. Heminger, 66, of Mishawaka, died Saturday morning, January 6, 2007, at Our Lady of Peace Hospital, South Bend.  He was born December 22, 1940, in Elkhart, Indiana, to Harold L. and Ruth (Roland) Heminger.   Mr. Heminger had worked at X-Cel Corporation and E.K. Blessings in Elkhart.    A 1958 graduate of Elkhart High School, Mr. Heminger attended Bethel College for two years.  He was an actor at the Bristol Opera House performing in many plays and musicals, including, The King and I and Snoopy.  He collected music and older movies.   He is survived by a brother, Dennis (Sharon) Heminger of Goshen and six nieces and nephews.   Friends may call 4 to 5 p.m., Thursday, January 11 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.   A 5:00 p.m. memorial service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, January 11, 2007.  Rev. David Hackney of the New Paris Missionary Church will officiate.   Cremains will be buried at a later date.
