James P. Hay

James P. Hay, 72, formerly of Goshen died Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Indiana Veterans Home in West Lafayette, where he had resided since 2007. He was born September 14, 1942 in Goshen to Lemuel J. and Louise M. (Bachman) Hay. Survivors include a daughter, Shari (Robert) Barker and three grandchildren, Nicholas Paluchniak, Zane and Zack Barker, all of Goshen; two sisters, Sue Ann (Clerance) Moseng and Susan (Robert) Newcomer and a brother, Jerry (Charlene) Hay all of Elkhart. He was preceded in death by his parents. A 1960 Goshen High School graduate, he served in the US Army during the Vietnam era and was a member of West Goshen Church of the Brethren. Friends may call one hour prior to the 10:30 am funeral service Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Burial will follow in West Goshen Cemetery.
