James C. Hawkins

James C. Hawkins, 74, of Goshen passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Goshen Hospital.

He was born November 4, 1947 in Goshen to Carel and Lydia (Borntrager) Hawkins. They preceded him in death.

James married Brenda Clifton on June 8, 1968 in Watertown, New York.

She survives along with three children, Shane (Veronica) Hawkins, Kysa (Mark) Cunningham and Ryan (Jami) Hawkins; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and three siblings, John Hawkins of Florida, Debra Houin and Jerry Hawkins both of Indiana.

James and his wife Brenda owned and operated the New Paris Store since 1978. He was well loved by the community.

Yoder-Culp Funeral home is assisting the family with arrangements.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
