James D. Hamilton

James D. Hamilton, 76, of Goshen passed away Monday, September 23, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born September 19, 1948 in Bristol to Montell and Myrtle M. (Schamerhorn) Hamilton.

On August 12, 1977 he married Carla Winterrowd in Goshen.

She survives along with two daughters, Cindi Hamilton of Goshen and Cristi (Klemp) Hamilton of Seymour; five grandchildren, Brittany and Kelsie Klemp, and Logan, Luke and Lincoln Ott; and a sister, Joyce (Nick) DeJong of Bristol.

Mr. Hamilton was a United States Air Force veteran and worked as a welder for Supreme Corp. He enjoyed participating in remote control model airplane clubs. He also was involved in several bowling leagues in Goshen and Elkhart, bowling two perfect 300 games.

Visitation will be Friday, September 27, from 11 a.m. until the 12 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

Burial with military honors will follow at Violett Cemetery.
