James Edward Foster, 56, of Warsaw, died late Sunday night, June 26, 2011, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, after suffering a massive stroke. He was born September 16, 1954 in Elkhart to the late Hallet K. and Irene Mae (Tennis) Foster. A 1973 Goshen High School graduate, he attended Vincennes University. Jim worked as a salesman at Lakeside Chevrolet and Leesburg Liquors. He is survived by two daughters, Laurieanne Foster and Allison Foster, both of Warsaw; four grandchildren, Korbin Foster, William Wells, Jr., Andre Wells and Kyla Duff; two sisters, Marge Foster and Sharon Hinesley, both of North Webster; a brother, Aaron Hinesley of Mt. Dora, Florida; a niece; a nephew; and two great-nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jane Beluschak on August 24, 2008. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, June 29, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 10 a.m., Thursday, June 30, 2011, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Alan Griffin of First Presbyterian Church, Goshen, will officiate. Cremation, by Yoder-Culp Crematory, will follow the services. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be given to Goshen Hospital Foundation.
