James Lewis Fidler

James Lewis Fidler, 77, of Goshen, passed away Friday, January 14, 2022 at Goshen Hospital.

He was born August 25, 1944 in Goshen to Russell and Helen (Johnson) Fidler.

On July 6, 2002 he married Vicki Miller.

She survives along with a son, Christopher (Kate) Fidler of New York; two step-children, Tilynna (Jon) Berg of Goshen and Dawn Miller of Bristol; four grandchildren; six step-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren.

James was preceded in death by a brother, Greg Fidler; a daughter, Laura Redman and a step-grandson, Gaven Stubblefield.

Mr. Fidler served as a chief fire control technician for the Unites States Navy. He retired from Mitchell Inc., Elkhart where he was an engineer. After his retirement he worked for Synergy RV Transport Inc., Goshen as a guard shack attendant.

A memorial service will take place at a later time.
