James "Jim" Alexander Fry

January 18, 1933 — February 2, 2015

James "Jim" Alexander Fry, 82, of Goshen, died Monday, February 2, 2015, at IU Health Goshen Hospital. He was born January. 18, 1933 in Goshen to William and Beatrice (Yoder) Fry. On Nov. 22, 1956 he married Ruth (Lumm) Sorg. She survives along with three step-children, Kris (Nancy) Sorg of Goshen, Joan (Stephen) Burns of Millersburg and Kirk (Rebecca) Sorg of Indianapolis; three children, Donald Replogle of Elkhart, James Replogle of South Bend and Cathy Replogle of Goshen; several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and a sister, Corrine Burk of Elkhart. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Violet Berkey. A Goshen fireman for 20 years, Jim was a member of First United Methodist Church Life Center. Friends may call Wednesday, February 4, 2015 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 10 a.m., funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, February 5. Pastor Ed Fritz will officiate. Burial will follow in Elkhart Prairie Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to the Life Center.
