Jalyn Riley Miller

Jalyn Riley Miller, 9, of Middlebury, died Thursday, April 1, 2010, at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo, Michigan, as the result of a truck/pedestrian accident. He was born in Goshen on April 9, 2000, to Nathan T. and Wanda Sue (Miller) Miller of Middlebury. Jalyn is survived by his parents; a brother, Bryson Arnell Miller, at home; maternal grandmother, Polly J. Miller of Goshen; and a paternal grandfather, Thomas Miller of Middlebury. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather and paternal grandmother. A 4th grade student at Millersburg Elementary School, Jalyn enjoyed basketball, football, baseball, driving go carts, Nascar, especially Ryan Newman, and reading, especially books about sports. Friends may call 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, April 4, at the Griner Mennonite Church, Middlebury. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 5, 2010, at the church. Burial will be in Griner Mennonite Cemetery, Middlebury. Memorial contributions may be made to Griner Children’s Ministry.
