Jacqueline “Jackie” Lee Kramer, age 83, of Goshen, Indiana, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2026, at Goshen Hospital surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on November 5, 1942, in Freeport, Illinois, Jackie was the beloved daughter of Donald J. and Betty (Engle) Hepner. She built a life centered on faith, family, kindness, and hard work, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her.

On October 6, 1972, Jackie married the love of her life, Wayne Allen Kramer. Together they shared many years of love, laughter, and devotion.

Jackie was a dedicated executive secretary and medical transcriptionist, working for Salem Insurance, Yoder Ainlay Ulmer & Buckingham Attorneys and Goshen Hospital. She took pride in her work and was known for her reliability, warmth, and caring spirit.

Above all else, Jackie cherished her family. She is lovingly remembered by her sons, James “Bret” (Jennifer) of Goshen; Mark (deceased) and Jenny of Freeport, IL; her grandchildren, Chase, Jourdan, Dayne, Hallie, Sarah, and Drew; and her great-grandchildren Dawson & Lacey who brought her endless joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings, including Janice Schult, Judy Nack, and Jack Hepner.

Jackie enjoyed life’s simple blessings, especially time spent with her family, quiet moments at home, and the comfort of lifelong friendships. Her gentle nature, generous heart, and steady presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date at The First Presbyterian Church in Goshen. In accordance with Jackie’s wishes, there will be no visitation.

The family invites those who knew and loved Jackie to remember her by sharing kindness with others, just as she did throughout her life.
