Jacqueline Hochstedler, 61, of Goshen, went to be with the Lord in the early morning hours on June 17, 2017, surrounded by her family and friends after an extended illness.
She was born November 2, 1955 in Kokomo, but resided most of her life in the Goshen area.
She is survived by her parents, Walter and Florence Hochstedler of Goshen; her brothers, LaMar (Linda) Hochstedler of Shipshewana and Lance (Claire) Hochstedler of New Paris; her son, Brandon (Andrea) Kelsey of New Paris with her three grandchildren, Aubrey, Baige and Cyeson; nephews, Trevor (Lori) Hochstedler and children Allison, Collin and Preston and Troy (Shari) Hochstedler and children Alexis and Anthony; and niece, Lauren Hochstedler.
She worked as a radiation technician throughout the area, specializing in orthopedics. She was an active member in the Goshen community, especially within her church, Goshen Christian Church. She reveled in making others laugh and did so especially be becoming certified as “Jazzy” the clown. She had a passion and love for music and she played piano and organ for her church and community events.
Friends may call Tuesday, June 20, 2017 from 3 to 7 p.m. and one hour prior to the 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 21, funeral service, all at Goshen Christian Church. Pastor Kim Huffman will officiate.
Burial will follow in Elkhart Prairie Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the church.
