Jack Weber

December 24, 1926 — March 2, 2019

Jack Weber, 92, of Middlebury died Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Goshen Hospital.

He was born December 24, 1926 in Albion to Herbert and Helen (Brown) Weber.

On November 3, 1950 he married Bette Weaver in Wawaka.  She preceded him in death on April 23, 1989.

Survivors include two daughters, Deborah (Gary) Bush of Middlebury, and Brenda (Ronald) Benefiel of Shipshewana; a son, Michael (Elizabeth) Weber of Edwardsburg, Michigan; nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Jack was a graduate of Albion High School and a WW II veteran, serving in the U.S. Army in occupied Korea from 1945 to 1947.  He was a member of the Goshen D.A.V., American Legion, and the Goshen V.F.W.

He was a supervisor at The Proof Company and Goshen Rubber Company prior to retirement.  He continued to work in security until he was 89.

A personable man, Jack enjoyed time spent with family and being in nature, fishing and hunting mushrooms.

According to his wishes, cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory.

Private family services will take place.

Memorial gifts may be directed to the Goshen D.A.V. or the Goshen V.F.W.
