Jack Lee Keesling

Jack Lee Keesling, 66, of Middlebury, died Sunday, January 29, 2023, at Elkhart Hospital.

He was born September 6, 1956 in Anderson, Indiana.

On August 22, 2005 he married Cherie Bowerman.

Cherie survives along with four daughters, Leah (James) Otto of Fort Wayne, Diane Wood of Shipshewana, Amy Wood of Shipshewana and Corrina (Andrew) Jelinek of Bristol; three sons, Kenneth (Echo) Keesling of Yakima, Washington, Joseph (Josette) Keesling of Middlebury and Samuel Mocherman of Goshen; nine grandchildren; one great-grandson and two siblings, Steve (Phyllis) Keesling of Middletown and Sue (Gary) Brown of Muncie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Wayne Keesling and Barbara Ann (Mills) Ritchie and step-father, Wayne Ritchie.

Jack enjoyed fishing, NASCAR and street racing. He was involved in many churches and ministries; he loved helping people and never knew a stranger. He had a servant’s heart, was passionate and caring.

A Visitation will take place Saturday, February 11 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.

A 12 p.m. celebration of life service will follow at the Omega Event Center, 2130 Middlebury St., Elkhart, IN 46516. Apostles Brian Stutzman and Mario Villela will officiate.
