Jack E. Hurd, 72, of Goshen, died unexpectedly Friday, January 14, 2022.

He was born June 8, 1949, in Willard, Missouri to Bonnie L. and Virginia (Honicutt) Hurd).

On January 15, 1977, he married Patricia Parker in Goshen.

She survives along with two children, Melissa (Robert) Huffman of Goshen and Christopher (Melissa) Hurd of Middlebury; three grandchildren, Nicholas (Brooke), Brittany and Autumn; four great-grandchildren, Cassi, Dayton, Edlin and Connor; and a sister, Barbara Hurd of Missouri.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings, Bud and Jonie Hurd and Ruthie Smith.

Mr. Hurd retired from T&M Rubber after 40 years of service.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 20, 2022, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 10 a.m., Friday, January 21, funeral service will be conducted.  Pastor Pete Ramie of the Goshen Church of God will officiate.

Burial will follow in Baintertown Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be given to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
