Jack R. Howell, Sr.

Jack R. Howell, Sr., 77, of Goshen, died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017, at his home.

He was born Feb. 21, 1940 in Cabin Creek, West Virginia to Percy and Dorothy (Stanley) Howell.

On April 7, 1957 he married Ellen Maxine Falin.

She survives along with two children, Barb (Brian) Fann and Willie Howell, both of Goshen; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and three sisters, Shirley Starner of Cabin Creek, West Virginia and Betty Moles and Belva Moles, both of Goshen.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Jack Jr. “Slick” and Terry Howell and three siblings, Eugene and Bud Howell and Imogene Harvey.

Mr. Howell worked at Barler’s Manufacturing and Goshen Dairy.  He was a member of the Goshen Eagles, Moose and D.A.V.

Friends may call Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 1 p.m. Thursday funeral service will be conducted.

Burial will follow in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.
