Jack E. Hollinger, 91, died Wednesday evening, November 18, 2009, at the Courtyard, Goshen.  He was born on March 22, 1918, in South Bend, Indiana, to the late Charles and Harriet (Fausch) Hollinger.  He married Marguerite A. ‘Dimp’ Bowersox, in Goshen, on November 5, 1938.  She preceded him in death on July 12, 2000.  He then married Donna M. Clark, in Goshen, on November 26, 2004.  She preceded him in death on May 14, 2009.  Mr. Hollinger was a farmer and a school bus driver for 35 years, he received the Purple Heart while he was wounded during his time as a Marine.  He was also a member of the Family Worship Center at the Lighthouse, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans, American Legion, Goshen Moose, and Maplecrest Country Club.  He is survived by two daughters, Jacqueline (Ray) Yoder, Cicero, Indiana, Sylvia (John) Hicks, Winder, Georgia; two sons, Rex (Paula) Hollinger, Goshen, Jerry (Ada) Hollinger, Lebanon, Tennessee; one half-sister, Carol Stose, Goshen; one half-brother, Paul Hollinger, Florida; one step-daughter, Lori (Steve) Howard; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, November 20, 2009, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 1 p.m., Saturday, November 21, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Reverend James Hochstetler, of the Family Worship Center at the Lighthouse, Goshen, is officiating. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorials may be made out to the Elkhart Humane Society.
