Jack D. Hart, 81, of Goshen, died Sunday, June 28, 2020, at Hospice House, Elkhart, after a six-month illness.  He loved the Lord Jesus Christ.

He was born October 13, 1938 in Ashland, West Virginia to Robert and Lesie (Wineberger) Hart.

Survivors include his children, Donnie Hart of Marion, North Carolina, Jeff (Marlene) Hart of Savannah, Tennessee, Joe (Sherry) Hart of Jones, Michigan and Tom (Melissa) Hart of Bristol; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; siblings, Mary Nell White of Montcalm, West Virginia, Carl (Carol) Hart of Newnen, Georgia, Virginia McMillan of Elkhart, Shirley Summers of Roanoke, Virginia and Jerry (Dorothy) Hart of Elkhart and former wife, Peggy Hart of Bristol.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Robert, Jr. and Claude Hart and a granddaughter, Rachel Elizabeth Hart.

A graduate of Montcalm High School, Jack retired as production supervisor for KMC Controls, New Paris.  He also worked at T&M Rubber and Goshen Rubber.

Jack enjoyed fishing, gardening and was a fantastic musician and vocalist, playing in several bands in his younger years.  He was a dedicated father and grandfather.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 1, 2020, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 10 a.m. Thursday, July 2, 2020, funeral service will be held.

Entombment will follow in Rice Cemetery, Elkhart.

Memorial donations may be given to American Cancer Society.
