Jack Bechtel

Jack Bechtel, 72, of Goshen,  passed away Friday, August 12, 2022, at Greencroft Healthcare.

He was born November 26, 1949, in Goshen.

He married Nadine Hershberger on March 17, 1979, in Goshen.

She survives, along with his mother, Melba (Hartzler) Bechtel; two children, Jason (Mary) Bechtel of Fayston, Vermont and Audra (Jeff Alheim) Bechtel of Goshen; three grandchildren, Brad, Brian and Nadia; and two sisters, Nancy (Stephen) Miller of Onekema, Michigan and Cindy Burge of Goshen.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Bechtel.

Jack loved his family, grandchildren and friends and never met a stranger who didn’t become a friend.  He owned several businesses, but his greatest passion was farming.

The family will receive friends, Tuesday, August 16, 2022, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

A private funeral service will be held.

Memorials, in memory of Jack, may be given to Goshen Hospice and Home Care.
