J Robert Kreider

J. Robert Kreider, 89, died early Monday morning, November 30, 2009, at Greencroft Healthcare, Goshen.     He was born to the late Lloyd S. and Adelia (Stover) Kreider on December 30, 1919, in Wadsworth, Ohio.  He married Virginia L. (Stalter) Kreider on June 10, 1941, she survives. Mr. Kreider graduated as valedictorian from both Wadsworth High School and at Goshen College.  He worked as the business manager at Goshen College.  He is survived five sons J. Evan (Janice Aeschliman) Kreider, Vancouver, Canada, Paul (Kay Sutter) Kreider, Springfield, Ohio, Mark (Amy Hill) Kreider, New York City, New York, Bruce (Charlotte Unruh) Kreider, North Newton, Kansas, Franklin (Lori Fritter) Kreider, Jackson, Michigan; one sister, Ruth Heatwole, Harrisonburg, Virginia; three sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.  Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Saturday, December 5, 2009, in the Koinonia Room at College Mennonite Church. A 3 p.m., Sunday, December 6, memorial service will be held at the College Mennonite Church.  Pastor Klaudia Smucker will officiate.  Burial will be in Violett Cemetery. Memorials may be made out to Goshen College or to the Mennonite Mission Network.
