Iva Lee Schuster, 84, of Goshen, died Tuesday morning, May 16, 2006, at Elkhart General Hospital, where she had surgery in both March and April. She was born August 29, 1921, in Hazzard, Kentucky, to Logan and Bessie (Couch) Begley. On October 2, 1940, she married William Henry Hensley. He died February 9, 1973. She then married Henry G. Schuster in Goshen. He died September 10, 1977. An area resident since 1958, she worked at Paragon in Goshen until retiring in the 1980’s. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and making children’s clothing. Mrs. Schuster is survived by four daughters, Mary (Charlie) Thrasher and Martha Jean Sexton, both of Edwardsburg, Michigan, Nora (Levi) Miller and Peggy (Ivan) Griffin, both of Goshen; three sons, Bige (Brenda) Hensley of Louisville, Kentucky, Jeff (Joann) Hensley of White Cloud, Michigan, and Eddie (Juanita) Hensley of Tazwell, Tennessee; and 56 grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Nora Rutledge of Shalimar, Florida; and four brothers, Virgil (Beverly) Begley of Middletown, Ohio, William Begley of Hazzard, Kentucky, Joe Begley of New Albany, Indiana, and Bige (Zola) Begley of Stinnett, Kentucky. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, May 19, and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home. An 11:00 a.m. funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2006, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery, Goshen.
