Isabelle I Weaver Bixby Wallace

Isabelle I. Weaver Bixby Wallace, 85, of Sebring, Florida, died April 8, 2012 at Good Shepherd Hospice. She was born March 25, 1927 in Goshen to the late Mervin Carl and Fern (Fox) Weaver. She married Robert M. Bixby September 10, 1966. He died January 3, 2000. She is survived by three daughters, Lynn Miller of Portland, Oregon, Bonnie (Jeff) Kaufman and Claudia (Homer) Diamond, both of Sebring, Florida; two grandsons, Brett and Paul Miller; a great-granddaughter, Silvia Miller and a brother, Kenneth S. Weaver of Fort Wayne. A longtime Goshen resident, Mrs. Wallace worked at Salem Bank & Trust Company and as a realtor with Century 21 Bill Long and Association. She was a member of the Union Congregational Church where she sang with the choir. She was also a member of the Sebring Municipal Golf Association and a former member of Maplecrest Country Club. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m., Friday, May 11, 2012, at Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Rev. Marvin Engbrecht of the Nappanee Missionary Church will officiate.
