Isabel Kime

August 30, 1915 — March 8, 2008

Isabel Kime, 92, of Goshen, died late Saturday night, March 8, 2008, at Courtyard Healthcare in Goshen. She was born in New Paris on August 30, 1915, to Charles H. and Laura (Coy) Lutes.  She married Floyd Kime in Goshen on November 19, 1937.  He died September 28, 1980. A homemaker, Mrs. Kime attended Manchester College for two years.  Prior to her marriage she worked for Spinks Hotel at Wawasee Lake.  She was a former member of Goshen City Church of the Brethren. She is survived by two sons, Stephen (Cheryl) Kime of Elkhart and Karman (MaryEllen) Kime of Syracuse; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd; a son, Roger Lynn Kime; six sisters, Laveta Barnard, Berdina Helser, Savilla Wysong, Dorothy Widner, Lucille Steward and Ramaine Lutes; and a brother, Eldon Lutes. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 11 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 10:00 a.m. funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 12, 2008.  Rev. Ron Spyker of the Jefferson Brethren Church, Goshen will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Grove Cemetery, Middlebury.
