Irvin “Bud” Bruce Kritzman, 86, of Millersburg, died Saturday, November 4, 2017, at his home.
He was born May 24, 1931 in Pontiac, Michigan to Reuben “Bruce” and Mary (Dunlap) Kritzman.
On August 29, 1953 he married Shirley Loomis.
She survives along with six children, Kurt Kritzman of Millersburg, Jane (Keith) Hathaway of Millersburg, Heidi (Dan) Frick of Ligonier, Mark (Diane) Kritzman of Goshen, Matt (Lanette) Kritzman of Millersburg and Gretchen (Bryan) Miller of Middlebury; 28 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, Betty Ann Murphy and Peter W. Kritzman.
Mr. Kritzman worked with Dow Chemical for 21 years and that work brought him to the area in 1973 to work with the RV industry in setting up a lamination line. He also worked for Starcraft and Cobra. In January 1980 he purchased Millersburg Lumber and he worked there until 2016.
He served with the U.S. Marines from 1949 to 1952.
He was a member of Zion Community Church, Millersburg.
Friends may call Tuesday, November 7, 2017 from 2 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and one hour prior to the 10 a.m. Wednesday funeral service at Zion Community Church, Millersburg. Former pastor Bob Doane will officiate.
Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the church or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
